PERFECT Place!

rachel-beau-reDue to unfortunate circumstances, we had to move our horse, Beau (I've Got Stars & Bars) to a new farm. With Rachel soon attending Gettysburg College in the fall and eager to be part of their equestrian team, we begain looking for a farm midway between home (Glen Rock, PA) and Gettysburg. Aside from location, it was imperative to us that we find a facility that we felt comfortable with caring for him. It took only one visit and a few introductions at Shady Dell and we knew we found the PERFECT place--diligently managed, friendly staff / boarders, exceptionally clean and well organized. What more could you ask for? Happy to be on board at Shady Dell Stables!

daveMark, Kim & Joyce,  I had to let you know just how much I appreciate everything you do. It is not easy work keeping up with a place that size.  I am very pleased with Lucy's progress. I would have to say a lot of it is due to the great environment that you have created at Shady Dell. Thank you for the new outdoor arena too! I cannot wait to get in there and turn a barrel!

Thanks so much for a wonderful year! “Cookie” has been pampered & has certainly prospered ... she has made some wonderful friends, both horse & human, and so have Christina and I. Anyone headed to the Carlisle area will certainly get a recommendation to make the drive to you!
